
EQuad News wins more awards

The
staff of EQuad News has received two APEX 2002 Awards for
Publication Excellence, bringing the total awards received
this year to five.
The first APEX 2002 award is for the winter
2001-2002 issue of EQuad News, which is online at:

Contributors to that issue include Ann
Haver-Allen, publications director, writer, and designer;
Sara Peters, writer; Peter Page, writer; Steven Schultz, writer;
Frank Wojciechowski, photographer, and Alicia G. Brzycki,
copy editor.
The second award is for Ms. Peters' story
about the collapse of the World Trade Towers, which appeared
in the fall 2001 issue.

the APEX 2002 Awards for Publication Excellence recognize
excellence in publications work by professional communicators.
The awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial
content, and the ability to achieve overall communications
excellence.
EQuad News previously was named a finalist
by the Association of Educational Publishers for a series
that appeared in the summer 2001 issue.
In addition, the staff received two Awards
of Distinction in the Communicator Awards 2002 print media
competition.
