Andrew Persily *82 named vice president of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers

At its 2007 annual meeting in June, Andrew Persily was appointed vice president of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. ASHRAE, an international organization founded in 1894, advances the arts and sciences of heating, cooling and ventilation to better serve the population and to promote a sustainable world. Persily, who received a Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton in 1982, is a mechanical engineer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Maryland.
